As a medically retired firefighter, due a career ending injury. Michelle was very hard on her body, and had experienced numerous head injuries and spinal traumas. Fire fighting was her life and she was devastated when a doctor told her the only choice was neck fusion surgery or be a quadriplegic within 3 years. Her fear of being debilitated after the surgery or being a quadriplegic (60% chance with the surgery), and not being able to homeschool/care for her children or work, pushed her to seek alternative measures. She knew that if the holistic avenues didn't work, she would always have surgery to turn to but couldn't reverse a surgery. This was the beginning of her love and career as a craniosacral/bodyworker. She recently married, her husband is also dedicated to injury prevention and restorative therapy. They recently opened a holistic center together after working alone for 15 years and realized quickly how complimentary their lives had been for the past 15 years without knowing each other. Their passion is being able to facilitate others understanding, healing and watching their new knowledge and health enable a new life of possibilities for them, witnessing them spreading the knowledge and love to their loved ones and the community.
