Like many, I had new year’s goals (yes, resolutions) that kick in on 1/1 of any year. It’s a social ritual all around the world.

This year, my list includes health-related goals: get fit, starting with weight loss. Then, maintain.

What about you? What are your goals and resolutions for 2018? Are you on your way or stuck from the get-go?

It’s easy, we tell ourselves. If so-and-so can do it, I can, too.

Here’s the thing, I LOVE dairy – in all forms. Cheese, ice cream, butter (with bread, of course). Hey, how do you think I maintain my hips?

Sure, there are alternatives now. I could replace dairy with soy, almond or coconut in most of these food items. Milk and ice cream are especially available with different bases. Is goat cheese dairy or not?

Who are they trying to kid? These are just not the same as the real thing!

Fortunately, with support from health and wellness professionals found through the Holistic Chamber of Commerce, I can actually able to keep my resolutions, reach real results and have them last all year.

Some days, I can even splurge on a milkshake!
