Trigger Warning // Sexual Violence, Suicide, Racial Discrimination, and Gun Violence

At the Holistic Chamber of Commerce, we have created a bridge that goes from past trauma to future well-being and wellness.

Deeper personal and societal issues call for solutions that go below the surface and address the root causes.

Addressing the underlying causes of mental and emotional health concerns, to reduce anxiety and create a higher level of well-being for you and your clients/patients, is the true value of holistic healing professionals. Even when you can’t find words to express your deepest pain, there are specialists who can help reach through your internal filters to help heal where needed.

We are living at a time when awareness of Mental and Emotional Health concerns is on everyone’s mind. Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is not just a diagnosis relegated to war veterans anymore; it is relevant for children raised in abusive families, women who have been raped and others who have experienced trauma in a variety of ways.

Even before COVID-19, stress impacted all of our lives, and suicide rates, especially among teens, has been a sad statistic far longer than any of us want to admit. Now with school and public shootings as part of the mix of life, these issues cannot be swept under the rug.

Further, it could be argued that people of color who grow up with intimidation and racial bias in their daily life, are also dealing with PTSD.

And none of these are likely to be solved with just another pill.
