Chapter President Bio
I am the author of "Awakening the New Masculine: The Path of the Integral Warrior," a book about later-stage Masculine consciousness and spirituality. For more than a decade I've been leading workshops for men and couples. I'm also a Napa-based Certified Professional Life Coach at "New Dog Old Tricks" by supporting men in being compassionate badasses after they retire, helping them successfully transition from their work careers to what comes after), and I hold a Doctorate in Shamanic Psychospiritual Studies, and a Masters in Shamanic Intuitional Practices.
I am also an Ordained Shamanic Minister, and have always chosen non-traditional paths in my life while reveling in the ability to "walk between the worlds" in professional business capacities and life.
In addition, I am also a professional singer and a working award-winning artist/designer (yes, I get paid for all of that) and a workshop creator and facilitator.
I love co-creating community, bringing people together across seemingly deep chasms, and inspiring others in big-picture perspectives that understand we have more in common than our differences indicate.

YOUR CHAPTER PRESIDENT (me!) is recovering nicely from his partial knee replacement two weeks ago as of this writing and I'm pleased to announce that, largely due to the wonders of western medicine, we will be holding our February meeting on the 10th at our usual time, 6-8pm.
We invite all holistic practitioners who are looking for peers to network with,  bounce ideas off of, form alliances,  receive support and marketing assistance and more, to join us in Creating a Conversation - "The Holistic Approach" - What and How?

But, first, the Where and When:
NapaSport Steakhouse
145 Gasser Dr Ste A, Napa, CA 94559
6-6:30 pm: Sign in, Introductions
6:30-8:00 pm?

We'll be meeting in the indoor meeting room, but can easily expand as needed.
Questions to ponder:
  1. Do we start from judgment (not good enough, not ethical) or love (how can I/we help someone learn a better way?)
  2. Just because someone isn’t a good fit for working with me, does that mean they are unethical?
  3. Can we step away from the right/wrong, good/bad paradigm to create one that is more open to a variety of choices?
  4. Is there a way to work together with those who have different perspectives? How do we decide when it’s with our time and energy to figure that out?
  5. When deciding not to work with someone, can we do so without needing to make them wrong?
  6. With coaches, there is a fine line between ‘tough love’ and being a bully. Furthermore, what one person appreciates as tough love might make another feel bullied. If you are a coach, or working with a coach, how do you discern the difference and then deal with it?
  7. Can we recognize each other as individuals who have different approaches that work in different situations and with different people?

You've got to know others that would benefit from membership in the Napa Holistic Chamber of Commerce. Please invite them to our meeting so we can continue to grow.

Thanks. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.

Save The Date: Second Tuesday of the month, 6 pm
