One unique and increasingly popular approach to mental health is taking time on the path of a labyrinth.
Labyrinths have been around for more than 4,000 years and are a wonderful way to reduce stress through a mind-body exercise. By combining walking and contemplation, your mind and body sync differently and you release some stress.
There are four (4) standard types of labyrinths (Classical, Roman, Medieval, and Contemporary) with two (2) well-known labyrinths at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.
Find a labyrinth near you at the Worldwide Labyrinth Locator.
P.S. Be not confused – While similar, a maze is NOT the same as a labyrinth!
